Welcome to Out of Body Experiences! / THE VOID
January 06, 2019, 19:15:23
I was asked by Lumaza to put a copy of my long post or 'kind of' article on the Void here on the Pulse. Problem is though with formatting issues that made just paste+copy not good enough (quotes, pics, formats, links all would have to be adjusted or reuploaded) and it is also very long. The reformatting problem combined with the length issue is also the reason I did not even post it on my own little OBE-blog (https://astral-blog.weebly.com/blog) yet.

So that's why me and Lumaza agreed that I just add the link and it can of course be discussed and commented on here in this thread then. I put the table of contents here, so you can see the structure.

Maybe it is not perfect English language (as you know I'm not a native speaker) but I was tired and short of time for doing more proof-reading. So I decided it is good enough. I also wanted to finish this before the new year started.

Here's the contents table copied from there:

THE VOID

Content

Part I - Introduction & Definitions
Part II - Authors, Experts, Researchers & Teachers
Part III - Internet Forums & Articles (Astral Projectors)
Part IV - My Personal Void Research
Part V - Conclusions & Outlook

I wrote it in a thread as 5 posts on my soon-to-opened (or not ...) OBE-Forum which I had created and built just days before during October and November last year. This spontaneous forum was meant to serve as a 'backup forum' because as some you know the EIC forum vanished last year and the Astral Pulse was also 'offline' quite a long while.

So I thought one cannot be sure if the Pulse might not return one day either after all and so I started my own thing to find a new alternative 'home' for aspiring and experienced APers. It's a cloud based forum though because I am not an IT specialist and did not want to pay any money. (At least in future or for the time being it's a provisional backup, but it might open soon anyway, let's see how it goes, if I am in the mood to give it a try.)

Without further ado, here is the link.

http://out-of-body.boards.net/thread/26/void

As is also stressed in the article's introduction, the corroboration via multiple sources / witnesses / authors was my goal. I think I accomplished it.

Maybe if you decide to have a read then do it in installments, bit by bit or chapter by chapter, since it might take time. It is long and it also contains a certain degree of repetitiveness due to the corroboration aspect. So it also can be boring. Even more due to the 'bare' or 'dry' content which is more 'basic' since we might go to the basics of reality itself, at least that's what I think.

Quote from: Lumaza on January 05, 2019, 05:02:30. When I was younger I had sales training. This training was for "direct" sales, as in door to door sales. At the time, the people teaching you were basically "slave drivers". Door to door sales was and I guess still is very high pressure and the methods of the teachers were very ruthless as well. We made our projected "quotas" for the day in morning meeting. You either reached them at the end of the day or didn't. You never used the word "try". It was greatly frowned upon and would always end up with you getting chastised by a superior in the company.
Reminds me of what I did for over 4 years but just in the office as a telephone sales agent instead of outside canvassing from door to door. Yet, it is practically the same, just on the phone, calling number after number (yes, it sucks!). Indeed then you are taught that you have to eliminate any softening, polite or subjunctive/conditional speech out of your language, such as 'could' 'would' 'might' 'maybe' 'perhaps' or similar. You always say 'this product helps you to...' or 'will help you...' but never 'maybe if you would try it then it could help you ...'.
Same with affirmations. Always do, never 'want' or 'intend to' or 'would like' or whatever. Also never 'ask' for it, just 'command' it or even better: state that you already have/are it. The best affirmation is thus always and still 'I am... now' (e.g. out-of-body-now). Or 'I do' instead of 'I'd like to do, I'd wish ...' or whatever.
Quote from: Lumaza on January 05, 2019, 05:02:30This is when I noticed/perceived, that I wasn't moving forward towards these scenes, like I do in my 6 pt directional focus. They/the objects or scene were moving towards me.
When I use my 6pt directional technique while in the 3d Void or when trying to reach the Void, I will feel the motion in whatever direction is focused on. Example: the focus on Forward, will normally have me feeling like I am moving forward, like on a Rollercoaster or some driving simulation. I will experience the accompanying visuals as well. For a Rollercoaster, I may see the tracks ahead and feel as the track swerve and turn. Focus on backwards, up, down, right, left, will have their corresponding visuals and motion feelings/responses as well.
With this focus though, There was no feeling of moving towards something. There was no feeling of motion at all, except for the motion of me being perfectly still, as everything came at me.
This is my typcial Void experience. That is why I also called the (Akashic) Void the Akashic Screen sometimes. Yes, there is motion but you can always choose if you move or your surroundings come to you. It is a 3D and interactive screen for sure, but normally I do not move and the Void moves instead or the colours or pictures it shows me. It is maybe the focus I have which is normally not on myself or my body but on what is shown/presented to me. That is why the 'action' is on the other side and I am just putting out my intent or query and 'wait'.
One of the best examples is my card validation I did form the Void. First I saw the right card from afar. I demanded to see it from near to identify it. The card then 'floated' through the dark Void and moved towards me, not the other way round, and so I could read it.  :-)

Toto unveiling the curtain exposing the trickster magician ('god') and his machinery.

Same as we in the atral can do with many so-called negs or fear-related beings or events.

Pull back the curtain, show no fear and reveal what is really 'behind' them.

You can share experiences to demonstrate or exemplify something. This is when I do it. Otherwise it is in my view more service-to-ego. Also if it gets too 'fantastical' - although it might have been taken place - people might think you are a storyteller or just want to show off. There are quite a few out there on other boards or websites (not here) and we always need discernment.

I indeed have a blog (but hardly use it) and had a kind of OBE-journal on a forum (AD) but I discontinued it in 2016. When I started it I then had used it more for myself to discuss and digest the experiences. My discussion section was therefore sometimes longer than the section with the experience described. And also I could draw some use from discussing it with other experiencers who wrote comments or comparisons. That was fine. Sometimes when you are new at this you need sharing and discussing your own stuff and what 'happens to you'. I feel this need no more. Also since my experiences have gone down somehow, of course.

Tom Campbell is another example of s.o. not sharing his experiences for the do-it-yourself reason. I like that approach. But I also like Ziewe for his books somehow although they are not as helpful for learners.

I am grateful to Will Buhlman because it was his first book and his techniques that helped me on the path of OBE induction in 2009.

Then I will have a overwhelming urge to readjust my eyes. It could be an urge to move them that I am fighting. All I know is the urge is very strong. I slowed the process down in the last few days to understand it more and it feels like I am turning my eye sight completely off. While fighting the urge, my hands and feet begin to tingle, like pins and needles and I get the sensation of rising. The next thing I know, I am in a vast empty darkness. The depth of that darkness has changed dramatically.

I feel reminded of the old Nick Newport Lucidology material. In this video he talks about the eye's micromovements to be avoided and also some eye exercises. Is it connected to your practice?

https://vimeo.com/5300101

Quote"Second Sleep Starter: Stop Eye Micromovements"

That wraps it up for sleep breathing. The second sleep starter is to stop eye micromovements.

During the day the eyes are searching for changes in motion. Because of this they make tiny micro movements all the time and at the end of they day they are still making these micro movements even though you may want to go to sleep.

If you close your eyes and try to keep them still you'll find that after about 30 seconds they are still twitching very slightly. It's not easy to totally relax the eyes. However if you can keep them at complete ease for several minutes the body will interpret that as a signal that the mind may have fallen asleep. In fact if you keep your eyes still your body will often fall asleep even if the rest of your muscles are fairly tense.

"Roll Eyes To Relax Them"

Before sleep, relax your eye muscles by rolling them around in wide circles in both directions several times and then letting them rest. After 3 or 4 nights of practicing this you'll be able to keep your eyes totally still and you'll fall asleep much faster.

What baro-san said and also let the docs check for glaucoma. Since it's gone as you said it might not have been that but just a checking of the inner eye pressure is recommendable.

I wonder how cool you stayed. I'm not hypochondric but waking up with sh*t like that I would have run to the doc on the same day for sure.

Tom has said many times in the afterlife if your loved ones approach you it's not even them. It's just the larger consciousness system giving you comfort. That SUCKS.
I remember him also saying they just don't come that often to you because they have a lot of other things to do such as processing their just ended life (review, etc.) and preparing for another life experience package. So this is a slightly other version of it than just saying it is just the LCS computer thingy, etc.

I think we cannot solve this problem at all. It might be them or not or in some cases yes/no. I personally believe in the most cases it is actually them because LOVE is the factor here. Love between e.g. children and parents is expressed here and carries on in the afterlife. Of course it is the love of the 'other soul' (IUOC as Campbell calls it). But they as Higher Self or still as the individuated soul of that life want to reassure you and help you in your grief because of LOVE. I certainly would want to. But what do we know. Maybe physical life is like a dream and then you wake up and everything is back to normal what you really "are" and you do not care that much about the ones you left behind because you KNOW for shure they will be fine and one day 'wake up' just like you do and you can reunite then.

I like a lot of what TC says and writes but I do not swallow every thing he says or claims he found out, after all he's only a researcher of consciousness like everyone of us here is too. Imv he is also often too literal with his 'digital reality' thing and for me it is more metaphorical. Reality is certainly also 'computational' but that is not to be taken as sth literal and compare it to what 'digital' means in our world.

Compare the time of endless wars throughout the world with today s most peaceful times of all history.

I find this debatable or literally not debatable for that matter because we don't know enough of very ancient prehistoric times in many regions of Earth.

I've read accounts about e.g. pre-historic times in Europe where all were farming and trading peoples tribes with enough natural resources around them and that there is no sign of war and violence found by archeologists at all. For maybe even thousands of years.

So I would not be too sure about this being the most peaceful time. Moreover since today is not peacful in most parts of the world. We in the West live in our tiny reality bubble. And for a few decades now we have weapons of mass destruction and modern developments of the military of all kinds that is actually very frightening. War is business, too.

Yes, we also have achievements for sure, but it is all in all a very mixed bag for me.

I wish there was a "shift" in consciousness going on and again a few more people would come her like it was due to the 2012 craze years ago. I do not see it happen fast, maybe over decades. I mean if you compare today to years or decades ago maybe sth happened indeed. But I also see the opposite happening. Materialism and fake skepticism still has its grip on society and TPTB and the education system and mass media hypnotising the people with this fake philosophy don't want that to change. So no, I don't see it happening right now.

Reality fluctuations (term coined by Robert Bruce iirc). It's not only the physical.

The physical layer (astral-physical / etheric or whatever you call it) is close to the physical but also close to the astral where your thoughts, desires, expectations, alternate timelines, symbols, etc. manifest.

Jürgen Ziewe has a good article about it on his website:

http://www.multidimensionalman.com/Multidimensional-Man/Mechanics_of_Out-of-body_travel.html

For validations from the physical it is better to learn the skill of Remote Viewing.

Schmustin, I second Lumaza's advice about the clock time. If I were you would also try the indirect Wake-Back-To-Bed method and give myself 3 hours of sleep, then after the alarm-clock rings would give it a try. It can make a difference. It did so for me. Give it a try if you can and will.

It just seems to me that there are separate bodies for the separate planes.  If dreams take place on the astral plane in our astral body, and the physical reality dream takes place on the physical plane in our physical body, then how did I dream from the physical body?  My physical body wasn't asleep yet and the astral body hadn't separated yet, yet i still had dream imagery going on in my mind.  That's all I'm saying.
You might differentiate between bodies (astral, physical, mental, etc.) and soul/mind/consciousness/awareness. Bodies are the vehicles you use on each consciousness plane.

And you can experience being bi-located or 'multidimentional/plane/layered' on several planes in several bodies. Many do and did this. I also felt my physical body and was projected on the astral plane with my astral body often. So this would mean we exist somehow in all of our bodies at once, it is just our "focus" (from a higher view) that changes, hence this leads back to Monroe's focus view. In a mind-split / bilocation / multiple awareness situation/projection we then have a 'focus split' or 'focus multiplying', if you will.

I understand that everything is an illusion or projection.  That is the ultimate truth.  Time and space is an illusion.  Everything in the physical and the non-physical is ultimately an illusion.  All the different planes of existence are illusions as are the bodies we have in each.  But to me, that doesn't explain it.  We are living within the illusion, so why are we talking about it from outside the illusion?  In this great illusion of life we seem to have different bodies for different planes. And if I'm just wondering how I could be dreaming from my physical body and not my astral body in the illusion.
I do not quite understand the equation projection = illusion. Generally, I do not think this 'illusionism' thing - which is abundant especially in a lot of new age material and speak - is the right philosophical approach. A projection is not an illusion for me, neither is a dream. For me all is 'real'.

astral projectors can meet dreamers in their dreams and even see thoughts of awake people in the physical, so I think that all is a projection of some kind, just into a different layer/plane or however you want to call it

There is a focus level by the TMI also attributed to dreamers, also Kurt Leland wrote a lot about the astral Dream Zone (no matter if you're lucid or not).

I loved the book and a lot of things that Leland put out. He has an amazing ability to record his dreams and lucid adventures and so bring them back into written form.

There is no limitation of space in the nonphysical because it is not space.
